Who are you?

I'm George. I'm senior marketing manager here at JAAQ, and I am four months into a hair transplant. So you can see front of the head here is a lovely new hair. It's my hair. It comes to the back of your head, but it's new. And I'm here today to talk about the process, how it went, the procedure, but also how I feel now.

How long did the hair transplant take?

I was in there for about nine hours. So it was pretty much a full day of work. It was a long shift. I was up at 6:00 AM maybe travelled into London, got in there about nine, and then I left at 5:30 PM So it was a long, long day. I got about a 15 minute lunch break, but they gave me some meds. At the start of the procedure, they gave me some Valium, which I think helped me kind of sail through the day. But I definitely felt by the end I felt I was ready to go home. It was a long shift.

Were you awake during your hair transplant?

Yes, I was. Not everyone always is. I did ask them before I went, should I bring something? Should I bring a book? Should I bring a TV show? They do tell people to maybe bring something, but they say that a lot of people just fall asleep. I was awake for the whole thing. Unfortunately, I was hoping to sort of get a bit of a nap in. But yeah, I was awake the whole time.
