Who is Kofi Josephs and how would you describe yourself?

Who is Kofi Josephs and how would I describe myself? I would say he's cool. He is independent, he's authentic. He does what he wants when he wants, but he is a good person at the same time, he's got some space to grow and he is always trying to do that. He messes up a lot, but he's got a good heart. So I would say that is who called for Joel. This is, he's got a lot of potential and yeah. Good dude. Definitely.

Would the young Kofi Josephs be proud of you now?

I think so. I never used to think so. I don't know why, but it was a little bit mad in terms of identity and alignment within himself. I think I knew exactly where he wanted to go, but because he never had no guidance in how to get there, he was just moving mad. And obviously I'm talented at sports and I'm doing everything that I'm doing, but there's no help in how to go about it. I've just got people telling me how to do stuff only when I'm doing stuff wrong rather than people helping me in the right way. But finally, I think I've at least got the right mindset and I'm downloading the right information, I'm asking the right questions and stuff like that. And I think that younger Kofi for the people that he looked up to at the time, I'm close to them now. So I think, yeah, he'd be proud of me now. Not just because of everything I've achieved. He'd love all that stuff, but the people I've met and all that, he'd be excited by that. But I think he'd be proud of who I am in terms of me knowing who I am, being confident with himself, because his imposter syndrome and all that at my younger age was crazy. So now I think he's calculated confidence. He knows who he is and I think, yeah, he'd be proud of that.

What was your childhood like?

Yo, that's a question that, what was my childhood like? Fun. It was fun. Interesting. All over the place. Could say traumatic at the same time. Yeah, it was just like, obviously I'm Jamaican, so you've got, on Saturday we have soup. So the soup, you put everything in it. There's modern, there's dumpling, there's carrots, there's rice, there's everything. It's just a mix. It's just, it's fantastic. So I'd say my childhood was like that. Do you know what I mean? There's a lot going on. It tastes nice at the same time. So I'd say my childhood was like that, but I wouldn't say the good outweigh the bad. It was just interesting. I'd say it was necessary. My childhood was necessary because for the man I am today, I had to go through what I went through. Half the stuff I went through was my own fault. Do you know what I mean? But it was needed. So I would say my childhood was necessary, but extremely fun and interesting at the same time. It definitely wasn't boring. Yeah.
