What is financial wellbeing?
Financial wellbeing means different things to different people. To me, that's about having control and feeling secure. It's about making the most of your money day to day and being able to deal with the unexpected. It's about having enough of a plan to make the most of your money when the time comes in the future.
How can I look after my financial wellbeing?
Great question. Good financial wellbeing is about managing your money effectively and understanding the impact that it has on all aspects of life, both good and bad. It's about having a plan, so an action plan of what you want to do in the short term, the medium term, and right into the future, and being able to stick with that and understand how to navigate through life with all those changes that come.
How can I improve my financial wellbeing?
When it comes to improving your financial wellbeing, it's about having the knowledge and understanding of what's working right for you, what may be less so, and how you can get up that ladder when it comes to overall health, wellbeing, finance, for some, it's about having more quality time and maybe ways to make the most out of their money. For others, it's about getting on the ladder to a great retirement. Whatever matters to you is really what it's about.
