Who are you?

My name is Andrew Jenkins. I'm a proud father, brother, and obviously son to my parents. I'm a motivational speaker, inspiring speaker. Yeah, that's what I do for a living. I'm a keen gym goer. I like work it out. I believe the mental health and physical health go hand in hand. They compliment each other. And I'm also a keen sport enthusiast. Obviously rugby being my favourite sport and obviously boxing all sport, to be honest with you. But yeah, sport is a massive thing in my household.

What is your background?

I was born in 1978 in traditional Welsh family. I have three brothers, a mother and father, married 60 years. Great in school. Left school then to be a bank manager for 17 years for Lloyd's Bank. And then I went into insurance where I was in insurance for six years. And recently I left motivational talks.

What support was around you growing up?

My mother and father were very supportive growing up, but they pushed us hard, wanted us to be good sportsmen, obviously work hard in school, make sure we tried our best in school, good, honest people, good values, good morals. But like I said, we don't have any feelings or emotions. They'd never seen my parents or any feelings or emotions towards us. I knew they loved me, but they never displayed any love or any affection towards me.
