Menopause is a natural hormonal transition that every woman will experience. It's the end of our fertile years. It's when our periods stop and we move into the next phase of life, which can be both powerful and empowering. For so many,
What is the average age for menopause to start?
So menopause doesn't start. Menopause itself is just one day. It's the very last day of our last period, and then it's the 12 months following that where we are free. So menopause itself is just that one day, and for many of us, we dunno when that day is unless we are tracking our menstrual cycle. So it's the day that we look at retrospectively. But on average, that very last day of your last period is around the age of 51.
