Well, my name is Simon. I am London, born and bred. I'm a dad of three grown up kids, married, and I live and work.
How long have you been sober for?
I have been sober for 22 years, five months and 14 days or 8,003 one days. One day at a time.
What is the hardest part of going sober?
The hardest part of going sober was, as I said, the physical withdrawal, but that was relatively short. That was in a few days, first few days, and then the tough bit is sticking to the programme. And for me, that programme was a multitude of things, but the cornerstone of my recovery is my unwavering commitment to this 12 step process of aa.
