What was it like playing for England?

Yeah, absolutely amazing. I think when you are lining up and the national anthems playing and you are in the 11 and you are one of the best players in your position that day in the whole of the country, in a Brooklyn football nation country where it's our main sport is amazing. And I say that today, I'm not going to lie at the time you don't think that, but when I look back now, yeah. And yeah, amazing just to play for your country. Yeah. It is just the ultimate of any sport, any sport.

How did it feel running out in front of your home crowd for the first time?

I wasn't good with feelings. I'm not going to lie, but nervous. Nervous, especially coming from where I come from, being a nervous kid when I was younger. Yeah, very, very nervous. Again, finding it hard to enjoy when you are that nervous.

Who was the best player you ever played with?

This is by a long way, and that was Dennis Bur camp. I didn't believe a professional footballer could be that good. And there's levels, we are there, and then you've got that level, and that's what he was.
