Who are you?
Hi, my name is Peter Mattel, t I'm currently playing for the Warrington Wolves. I'm here to answer any questions about my experiences with suicide.
Has mental health affected your performance?
To be honest, it hasn't. I found that before I started becoming a professional rugby league player, I was mentally strong from what had previously happened. So basically growing through what I went through has made me become a better athlete.
How long did you suffer with menatl health?
To be honest, only as a kid, once I found my why and knew how strong my why is, I found the how, and that ended up having a big effect on me becoming mentally stronger.
